| Okay, so I was talking about circumcision on a board with some other mothers. First off, if I have to hear "its medical" or "it's cleaner" (which is total crap, research a little, people!) I might scream. Anyways, the point...... after I posted someone comes and whines about how she is reporting the post because it seriously offends her. It's like the third grade! LOL If you are so confident in your decision, why would my words offend you? Who can I report to in behalf of the babies being strapped down and cut for no reason? Who is their voice? Then we have to hear all the crap about being judgemental and not supporting other mothers. I'm sorry but I will never support that. I hate it. It's barbaric.
On topic, why is America so behind in this aspect? 85% of the world's male population is intact. Canada has an 11% circ rate. European countries have a very low rate. Then comes the US still above 50% (but at least it's gone down to that in recent years.) It's not going to go down more unless those of us who take the time to research, spread the word.
I also wanted to add that I really respect the parents who will admit what it was like for their sons and have broken (or will break) the chain. Alot of people get crap for not keeping their sons like their fathers or older brothers but you know, we have to break the chain somewhere! Just because our in-laws or parents did something, doesnt mean we have to do it to our children. I really love the phrase: when you know better, you do better.
I also respect the fathers who are not adamant about their sons matching. It really gives alot of mothers relief to know they wont have to do that to their tiny baby who they instinctively protect. When I first told my husband that I would never let that happen to any child of mine I think he was like "whoa, she's serious." HAHA I think I used the words "you'd have to tie me up and run me over with a truck before I let that happen!" and then I showed him this video: http://www.circumcisionquotes.com/video.html and asked "you would do that to a baby?" Of course he couldnt.
They dont need to match. They wont ever match for years and years anyways, unless husbands out there have a one inch penis and are completely hairless which I HIGHLY doubt.
| The last few I have read have all been weirdo. They start out fine but then halfway through they turn weirdo and go down from there. Blah! | | |
| I need to keep busy cause I am gonna be all alone AGAIN. Ugh. Dh has to go away for work again.......way away to the other side of the country. I really hate his job. We REALLY need to move cause I want out of this place! | | |
| Well......Jevin is closing his eyes cause he hates pictures and thinks if he squeezes his eyes real tight that it cant get him. LOL So here is an unhappy Jevin......but hey, I tried. We never have any of all of us! LOL

| I have got to stop buying cloth dipes. We have enough! Seriously........I havent even bought that much but I saved alot from when my first was little and so I have all those plus all the ones I bought when I was pregnant with her. I DO NOT NEED MORE so I need to stop! LOL
Speaking of cloth can I just praise them one more time?! I went to the mall the other day and all I had in the car was a leftover disposable from when I took the kids to D-land. Anyways, Daphne is all happy and I set her on the table at the foodcourt and I am making faces at her and she is just smiling away and dh (across the table) says "SICK!" I turn her around and she is happily squirting poop all up her back and out of her pants. LOL It was EVERYWHERE. On all her clothes, even the sweater and blanket. LOL So I went to go change her (which she was NOT happy about and she cried like I have never heard her cry before so I picked her up before I was finished wiping her and got poop all over my sleeve.) I was ready to panic. I've never heard her scream like that so I kept thinking maybe her poo was extra acidic or something but I dont think that is the reason cause she was perfectly happy until we got to the changing station thingie. Anyways, that is the last time I ever use a sposie! They are TERRIBLE. I've never had anything like that happen with cloth! Serves me right for using that junk on her in the first place!
